Renaissance Education – what role do they play?
Renaissance Education is the supplier of the Apple computers and services to the Ministry of Education for the Teacher Laptops (TELA) programme.
Part of Renaissance Ltd, the Apple Authorised Distributor in New Zealand, the Education team is comprised of staff including previous principals, advisors, teachers, BOT members and IT Managers experienced in the school sector and with an understanding of constrained budgets, student demands and the changing curricula.
We know that considering a change in computer platform is a big decision. We can assure you that our resources will be there with you and your staff throughout the transition and have a number of reference sites to attest to this. Our staff members are based in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin and are available on your site to assist you.
Full time engineers, PD and training staff, advisers, network designers and Account Managers are all part of the Renaissance team. We are currently involved with education sites running several thousands of Apple computers (eg University of Otago, University of Auckland, AUT) and also sites with 1 or 2 Macs. Our resources are proven and scalable.
Plans to integrate your TELA computers into your school networks, mail systems, LMS systems, smart phones (eg iPhones), schools administration systems can all be developed with Renaissance staff.
