What is RED?
Renaissance Education Division (RED) is a business unit of Renaissance Ltd and places a strong emphasis on Apple computer solutions in the whole education sector in New Zealand. Through our national network of Authorised Education Resellers we work closely with educational institutions, teachers, academics and students to encourage the effective use of ICT in learning, teaching and research.
As well as being a provider of Apple hardware and software, the RED network of Account Managers and resellers can provide a full range of peripherals, consumables and other related products.
RED also place a strong emphasis on professional development and training by running local, national and international professional development opportunities including events, courses and seminars, conferences, and bus trips around best practice sites. Content can be tailored for your needs and includes technical, engineering, Apple OS and associated applications, curricula integration from entry level through to advanced qualifications.
RED works closely with IT vendors to bring a range of offerings which include the very best products and services related to classroom and network use of ICT including
- Apple computers and applications (eg iLife, FinalCut Studio...)
- Other applications (eg Adobe, Microsoft...)
- Networking products (eg 3Com, Promise...)
- Peripheral items (Canon cameras and printers, storage devices...)
